Welcome to my little corner of the crafting world.
I live in the UK, just outside the beautiful city of York, with my husband, our two teenage girls, two very energetic border collies and eight pet sheep who definitely think they run the place.
Life here is a mix of countryside chaos, family life, muddy dog walks… and lots and lots of crafting!
How It All Started...
Believe it or not, my decor crafting journey started with a roll of peacock ribbon.
Seven years ago I found the most beautiful peacock print ribbon in rich teal tones. I instantly wanted it for my Christmas tree.
The only problem was I couldn’t find ANY baubles to match it.
I searched everywhere - shops, garden centres, online stores, so eventually I thought… "I wonder if I could make some?"
Fast forward several years and hundreds of decorations later!
The Questions Started Coming…
Over the years I’ve now created literally hundreds of baubles and seasonal
decorations, constantly refining and developing the techniques I use.
As I began sharing my creations online, people started asking questions. Lots of
questions.
- About the tools I use.
- The materials I choose.
- How I get such a neat finish.
- Where I buy my supplies.
And before long my messages were full of people asking how they could learn the techniques too.
