DIY Halloween Wreath Attachments: Make a Cauldron & Witches Legs
If you love decorating your home for Halloween, you're going to love making your own Halloween wreath accessories.
Rather than buying a completely new wreath every year, why not make your own Halloween wreath attachments that you can add to an existing wreath and switch out as the seasons change.
In this tutorial, I’m crafting how to turn a couple of simple MDF cut-outs into fun Halloween wreath decorations, a spooky bling cauldron and a pair of cheeky witches legs.
They’re surprisingly simple to make, but once they’re finished they can completely transform a plain wreath into something much more Halloween-worthy.

How to make your Halloween wreath attachments
The full step-by-step process is shown in the video above, but here’s an overview of how the project comes together:
1. Cover your MDF shapes
Using a glue gun, glue sections of the cauldron and apply the white foam, make sure to glue the centre of the cauldron too.
2. Metalic Cauldron
Layout the metalic foil fabric, face down and place the wooden template on top. Cut around the template leaving a 2inch margin.
Once the fabric has been cut out, start hot glueing sections of the material to the MDF, working left to right to ensure the foil fabric is stretched across the cauldron and not wrinkling.
3. Adding The Ribbon
Cut a length of ribbon wider than the middle section of the Cauldron and glue the ends to the back of the MDF, also run a thin line of glue along the inside of the ribbon across the front of the attachment.
4. Add your sparkle
This is where the fun really starts.
Grab your stash of diamantes or rhinestones and create your cluster and add to the centre of your cauldron.

The great thing about this tutorial is that you don't have to recreate my designs exactly.
Use the same MDF shapes as a blank canvas and create a colour scheme that works with your own style and designs.
